conversation with local dealer

Owner of local dealership called me yesterday, to talk about some work I did for him. But the topic of Kymco came up, we talked about the engine swap in my K-pipe and the conversation turned to parts,

he said Kymco  parts orders are starting to come in again, and that he got 50 unanticipated new scooters from Kymco for the showroom

50? As in "FIFTY?" FIVE ZERO!!? All at once? Send EMT's! Imma havin' a Red Foxx! It's the big one! Oooohhh!

ya, he said he called the warehouse in South Carolina to see what they had, a new shipment of 50 scooters came in, he said I'll take em... I even questioned him, he said yep, all of them have been delivered, most of them went to his new second location that he just opened last December (I did some environmental consulting for permits)

wow, I've never seen 50 Kymco scooters all in the same place..ever! Your dealer must be pretty confident is his ability to sell them, so that bodes well for the upcoming scooter selling season. (but did he take the entire US allotment of Kymco scooters with that one 50 scoot order?  )

his new location is closer to being in a metropolitan area, and scooters are flying out the door nearly as fast as they can uncrate them, the location closer to me, atvs move faster

I’m with you Hawk, that does sound like a lot of Kymcos in one hit.  “Flying out the door”? Well that augurs well.
