I check the oil quite regularly, it didnt seem to be loosing any but it was at the absaloute minuim, which is when I decided to do the oil change. Its now at the maximum. I probably wont do the valves myself, theres a local bike mechanic near my town which is where everyone I know who has a scooter goes.

Topping off the oil ??? Is your scoot using oil? When you last changed your oil, did you check the level properly? When doing an oil change it doesn't take the whole quart so where is the rest of the oil that wasn't used? Gy6 based engines work well with a valve clearance of 3MM on the intake and 5 on the exhaust.

I am not sure about 3 mm and 5 mm...

Took it to a garage after college, he fired it up and says it sounds sweet, nothing he can hear outof the ordinary.... Even when he full throttled it for about 10 seconds with no rev limiter though it didnt carry on revving. NEVER though it would rev THAT high, still its fine :) He took it out for a drive and said he cant hear anything and all is good apart from some vibration in the floor panel. He commenting saying its a very nice scooter, apart from the sh**e chinese engine :( ohwell!

Sounds like you have a great mechanic holding the engine at full throttle with no load.  I guess he had it in mind "If it isnt bad now I will speed the process up VRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMM!!

NEVER do you ever want to rev and engine full throttle with no load!

If I witnessed this I am sorry but he would have gotten a serious ass kicking! I would have said hey where is your car? I want to see how your engine runs at full throttle in neutral..

Well its fine? he held it there for a good ten seconds. 50cc Engines will cope with anything you can throw at it, ive gone down 20% hills full throttle and the boss just keeps the speed just under 40 mph, so it will do the same with no load :) I told him it had no rev limiter and his words were 'Yeah I wouldnt do it if I knew it would damage somthing. Plus I knew the lad and the boss of the garage knows me well so they arent going to piss about with somone they know :)
