Highway discomfort driving.
« on: May 23, 2022, 03:23:32 PM »
Good day.
Today I drove on  highway.
After 130 km/h I felt strange sensations from wheels. they were not driving very sure for this speed and faster. Maybe tyres issue..
The second warning,  engine sounds were uneven. he roaring softer, then louder.  Have you any ideas?

How long have you owned this scooter?
How many rides at high speeds?

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

That's 80 mph. I rarely go over 70-75 tops on my 500. Not sure why one would want to, but I get no unusual sensations or noises.

130 kph = 80.77 mph.  Now I could be wrong here (never having ridden an AK550), but I suspect most scooters will start to get "squirrelly" at that sort of speed, BUT tyre pressures & wear patterns will also have a bearing on this.  Doesn't address the engine speed changes mind...
Regards & ride safe,
Neil
