Hey Tom, only just noticed the "Boston Strong" in your signoff panel.  What's the significance?  Or am I being nosy?
Regards & ride safe,

I loved the years I lived in Massachusetts, and attended two marathons in Boston.
"Boston Strong" is a slogan that was created as part of the reaction to the Boston Marathon bombing in April 2013.
I'll never forget seeing that city on full lock-down.

I did wonder if it alluded to that. A bit like the proliferation of bee stickers on cars over hereafter the Manchester arena bombing - the bee is that city’s emblem.

M.T.

Are both of those top cases about the same size?
I want will get one at some point but the Kymco bracket for the AK 550 is $550....or so it seems. Crazy money for a simple bracket....

No, not at all the same size.
Probably best to get in front of a group of top cases to see what you will want for your scooter, and which can be fitted to your scooter.

Good point Stig. I went with the Givi Blade B37* for my X-Town 300 and am very pleased with it. Anything much bigger would look out of proportion IMO.

* Ignore the max 3kg weight disclaimer, I’ve ferried much more than that, just factor in the effects on handling!
