Old gas, used oil, unneeded diesel, etc. will be accepted at your town's recycling center.
Sometimes not cheap...I paid $40 to drop off a jug of diesel. The 2nd jug, I set out for the trash-pickers on Tues. night. Gone in the morning!Stig
In New York State anyone who sells motor oil has to take used oil back. I buy my oil at Wall Mart (great prices), and usually take it back there or to Advance auto parts for re-cycling. Old gas goes in the car with no problem. Don't know about Diesel fuel.
