What I really liked about the review was that the Super 8 was not characterized as a "beginners" bike or a "girls" bike (not that there's anything wrong with it, Rianna), but just as a "fun" bike. It doesn't have to be big and fast to be worthy of consideration.

I rode a Honda Ruckus and my wife rode a Honda Metro scooter for a coupls of years. I even had fun on that thing. We used to up in my Toyota pickup and haul them up to Anacortes (Washington). There we would unload, cut to the head of the ferry boat line (pedestrians, pedal bikers, amd scooters/motorcycles go first!!!) and take the ferry to either San Juan Island, or Orcas Island and spend our weekend tooling around the island.Even a 500cc Ruckus can be fun for a 50+ year old motorcyclist. And I always had someone to ride with (the wife).

But the Ruckus lost so much speed on hills that it could get dangerous.

I'm not giving up motorcycles, but I am looking at scooters and researching them.

bird...

I notice a big change going from the 50cc to a 150cc.

think about it.  Its much safer in situations where traffic moves a litte faster and it doesn't lose speed on hills.  I even gain speed if I hit the throttle.
Im usually on a bicycle, so for me, this thing is hauling ass!

Bird- If your are coming from the MC world the Super 8 with it's bigger wheels will feel quite comfortable.

I agree...

its been less than a week of ownership and I've just clicked past 300 miles.  I didn't even notice I rode that much.

yeah...

I can't wait to take it downtown.

I won't forget to take my camera.

You take your camera with you on any of those 300 miles, glopezz?  ;D

And no offense taken, Agent Bob, give me a "fun" bike over a "girl's" bike any day. I think the Super 8 looks sporty and stylish anyway.
