Carb float needle needed
« on: August 13, 2022, 02:41:20 PM »
With no success I’ve been trying to find a float needle for my 2008.
Had one on order for over a month then it was cancelled .
PN 16950-KHB4-900

Anyone have a replacement number in Honda or K&L ? Must be a quality part please .

Thank you

I'd try another dealer. I looked up the part code for the S200 and came up with

   People S 200 - FLOAT VALVE ASSY - 16179-KEC3-900

I'm assuming you're in the US? Is that correct?

Ok, so we're all referencing different parts. OP is asking about the vacuum petcock (based on part # lookup). This is likely a part shared by multiple carbureted models. Hope the OP didn't order from Solano Cycle in FL as you will grow old before getting your order!

I use PJ Motorsports for Keihin/Mikuni carburetor jets/parts, etc.  Go to pjmotorsports.com  But if your machine has a "Kymco" carburetor, you may find a Keihin part will fit, but it might not.  Then you'll have to find a Kymco parts supplier. Although many Kawasaki ATVs have Kymco motors, not all of them have Kymco carburetors.  Good luck!

@Tri750, don't worry about finding exactely this part.
Any aftermarket caburator will work with small alterations, if not even better, did several of them already.

Just don't go over 26-28 mm gas side intake, your cylinder will not take this more on gas. Air intake side is mostly smaller (42mm) than original Kymco (49mm) a piece of rubber hose around solves this problem.
Pls see pic.
