my bike that has left me pushing/stranded the most, has been my Suzuki V-strom, 4 charging system failures to date, cancer of the wire harness, bad connection at ECU, fuel pump failure, wheel bearings, frozen brakes, stuck clutch. Granted, some has been my doing, as a winter rider in winter slop

green cancer of the wire harness, gets into connections and spreads, anything sensitive to voltage goes haywire

after spending over $1k for a NEW wire harness (didn't trust any used ones I found as the were all compromised in some way)

all my connectors were filled with dielectric grease, then taped over with 3M Super88 tape, and finally a coating of ACF50 on everything, time consuming, more work than safety wiring a track bike
