WHAT COULD IT BE ....

Hello fellow Kymco People GTi 300 owners I have a question. I had my rear tire replaced with a CityGrip2
I had to remove the wheel.
However once I reinstalled the wheel swingarm, & the exhaust my Scooter now is loud.
I can feel the exhaust smoke coming out from around the head where the exhaust starts, also I installed
the o2 censor. It runs, but don't want to ride it that way .
Any input, or help would be appreciated 🛵💨...

Did you use s new gasket up there where exhaust attaches to the engine?
Leaking gasket or missing gasket?

@lb150t, welcome here.
A remote diagnosis is always a little bit like cristal ball viewing, but....
-first suspect would be for me a lost gasket between cylinderhead and muffler
-second possibility could be loose bolts or nuts there which should keep your muffler happily united with mentioned cylinderhead
-third (if) there your muffler has a slip-on part, those might be separated
-fourth, CO2 sensor not tighened
-fifth, muffler neck demaged from dismantling
-sixt, simply a hole which corroded through by time and during last munipulations got opened.

For the record this is my first time removing the wheel myself the shop
That did it before this was where I bought it from, but they are no longer a
Kymco Dealer so they didn't want to touch the Scooter so I had to remove it myself.
During a cold Start I can feel exhaust escaping from where the exhaust meets the cylinder
Head.

No problem.
Your exhaust gasket is missing or miss aligned.
Do NOT try to solve the leak by overtightening the exhaust nuts!
The mounting studs can be stripped or snapped from the engine by overtightening the exhaust nuts!
Use proper fitting exhaust gasket...snd just Snug the nuts. Don't get carried away with the wrench!

I hope you solve the exhaust leakage. just notice that : it is not necessary to remove the exaust pipe. Only the silencer should be  removed. 2 pictures
