Fuel gauge stuck?

Ok, so my fuel gauge is acting crazy.
And the best I can figure is it's getting stuck.
It works fine until you get to about 1/4 of a tank.
It continues to show 1/4 until it runs out of gas.
ARGH!!
Has anyone else had this issue?

Not on a Super 8 but these Kymcos have a pretty ordinary sender: float on a pivot arm with a variable resistor. Bend the wire arm to calibrate. Check the float to see if it really floats. Make sure it is not snagging/rubbing on the tank or anything. Buy a new sender (if you can FIND one.)
