derestricted but no real change!
« on: November 25, 2010, 09:02:17 PM »
hi all, finally took my agility 50 to get derestricted the other day. picked it up yesterday, the guy said it now does 37+ but on the way home and out on it today there was no increase in speed on the flat. downhill it did do the 37+ he mentioned but no increase whatsoever on the flat!

havent had cdi cut yet but he changed the jets and boss so what could the problem be???

any thoughts appreciated!

That problem would be not cutting the cdi and having a rev limiter.

Hi, fraggle. How goes it over there in Scotland? You all got good weather over there?

going good over here, just starting to get into wintery weather, -2 to -4 the last few days.....

is there any alternative to cutting the cdi unit?, ie finding the appropriate wire going into the chi and cutting that?

cheers

:) Hi, fraggle. Wow, that's the same one I have. Yeah, sorry, you can't cut the wires on that box.

you can do its easy just take a small saw plade and cut about a 8th of a inch in while you are cuting watch for a wire and make sure you go threw just the wire no farther. after done put black elc.tape
over it . maybe fell the slice with wax or stick elc tap in the slice. just to keeo dry. and you should be all good. just rember go slow and easy.
