2022 KYMCO AK550 seat comfort
« on: November 24, 2022, 08:25:00 PM »
Always a lot of posts about seat comfort. Heres a new one. For the first 4 or 500 miles on this scooter, my derriere was a bit sore after a ride. For some reason on future rides, I pulled my knees right against each other. I guess that spreads out your rear end so your taking up more seat. I haven't had a sore rear end since after 1200 miles or so. Granted, my rides are usually no more than 50 or 60 miles but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Thanks for sharing that, Dale. I'll try it. I removed the lumbar support on both my Grandvistas so I could move my butt forward and back from time to time, which is how I handle long rides.
