My youngest daughter was the varsity goal keeper her junior and senior years. She loved it.*
Fortunately she never underwent the stress of a Shootout.
But she says, "there is one rule in a PK - make me have to block your kick!"

Harry Kane forgot that, and France is through to the next round.

*me? Not so much. Watching her get into all those collisions, being led off the pitch. Concussion protocol,  etc. Americans will know how much 3 surgeries on her L knee cost.

I’ll watch the American women’s team play soccer; don’t like the game enough to watch the men play.

Yeah, like I've never not screwed up in front of people*......but - maybe not 1.6 Billion!

(*a fav of mine: working on the wall of a public govt. lobby. Behind me was a very large crowd of people - number slips in hand - waiting their turns. I drilled into a cold water line within the wall, after using something I called my "fat-chance" stud finder.

Glad I'm not the only one to have one of those, or to have done that!   Just glad my only audience was a startled cat  :)

I still use echo location, tap tap tap with a small hammer.  If ya got straight lumber, it works well, if the studs originated at Home Depot, yer just as apt to find the edge of a stud

When I remodeled my house 15 years ago, I put protection plates over wiring and plumbing, protection plates are in most building codes now

But as a land surveyor, I have driven a rebar property corner thru a misplaced water line
