How do you get a coffee to the office
« on: November 29, 2010, 02:06:35 AM »
Stupid question, but is there a cup holder attachment for the 200s that can get a starbucks back to the office, or a fountain soda if you pick up lunch?  Just asking?

Hi, realestateguy. I'm not sure about your model scoot, but I saw a couple of holders at this place here. Hope it helps. :)

A standard size coffee cup fits right into the right side of the glove box.

One of the Xciting owners here took off the hook -- the one right in front of you as you sit, that you're supposed to hang a bag or sack on.  Mounted a cup holder there instead.  I though it was a great idea!  Others have simply drilled holes and mounted cup holders anywhere convenient on the dash/kick area.  Just have a look behind first to make sure you're not drilling into something important!   Oh, and make sure your knees won't hit it. Ha!

Since this is posted in the S200 section, one would think that you do.

I used to stress about this. Since my P250 has a flat floorboard, I could always use a paper carrier for short runs, but longer distances were an issue.

A friend sent me this great L.L. Bean Thermos -- actually, a double-walled aluminum flask. It holds about 24oz. of coffee, and will keep it nicely hot for about 12 hours. Fits under the seat, and has a carry bag that I can (if necessary) hang on the curry hook.

This thang is so good, I use it as a carafe every day, even when not traveling.

I took one of those cup holders that you can hang from the car window.  Trimmed the plastic so that the back was smooth.  Then with velcro, I keep it on the floor below the hook on my Yager.  It works well, I don't kick it any more.
