Had a little drip from my drain bolt once - got it tightened up and have not had problems since.

Some blue loctite is also good to use - especially since you open that bolt infrequently.

My driver's manual says to fill it up to the lower edge of the hole you fill it up in... If you'd fill it over that, I guess it would start leaking if you open the bolt

mine is leaking from a hole just to the left of the drain hole it must be a over flow for that reason.
I gues all I can do is keep a eye on it.

You might want to just drain the whole thing and make sure you put in the correct amount.

If it still leaks then you'll know that overfilling isn't the problem.

you got point there . maybe a little liquid gasket on the drain bolt just to make sure.

Sounds like a plan.

Besides, you want to make sure there's still gear oil in there and it hasn't all leaked out.

Dang...sorry to hear about your gear oil leak there, blue. Wish I could see what hole you're talking about. I hope you get it sorted out soon and that it's nothing serious. :)

Im thinking because I lean the scoot to the side when I put the gear oil in there is to much in it and the extra is just running out. hopefully to much won't hurt anything.

I'd just open the filler bolt (while on the center stand) and let any excess run out now rather than have it pushed out under pressure of running.
