Washed and waxed the scooter this afternoon, on the leeward side of those 60mph winds out there!
Sprayed orange degreaser all over, then used soft brushes to work it into crannies. Rinsed with warm water, leaf blower to dry, and then set about applying ACF-50 everywhere (but the brake disc)
The muffler's heat guard pops off easily with just 2 Torx screws, so I can clean and thoroughly apply ACF-50.
Surf-shop carnauba wax and a buff.
The first stop at a light is going to be interesting - as that anti-corrosion stuff cooks on the hot parts!
Clean and ACF-50 under here - attention to both stands! (I use marine grease to lube them - some came with the Piaggio side stand kit)
Pain in the back and the knees...but feel better after it's done.
