Hello everyone. My agility just reached 9,000 KM and at this milage I am worried that the engine is starting to wear out.  I have no issues but have ordered a compression gauge to verify the current state of the piston rings. If something godforbid goes wrong is the standard gy6 150cc engine able to bolt onto the kymco agility chasis?

At 9000 kms, if your are a caring and not abusive owner, there should not be anything to worry about.
A scooter does not disintegrate all of a sudden.

Yes, there are parts which fail sometimes, but there is no reason to dump the whole scoot for that.

All of it can be repaired, to mostly reasonable conditions.
IMHO it's in most cases cheaper to repair than to buy new.

When I pulled mine apart last Spring at about 4,000 miles (you have 9K Km or 5400 miles?) it looked pretty much like new inside. I can’t imagine yours is even close to being worn out. If something does fail it is incredibly easy to fix these little single cylinder, air cooled motors. Very cheap to fix, too. As long as the oil is kept full and fresh these tough little things should run for a long time.

I would never dump my scooter if it were to have something majorly wrong with it. I was just moreover curious if parts began to fail at my current milage, I am always up to date with maitnence as well as regular oil changes, plus I do not ride like a madman, Half of the time I do not even reach above 60 KMH.

I guess I am just alittle paranoid. I generally go 2000 KM between oil changes as well as washing it every week. My question is more of what components tend to fail quickest at this milage

Stig, you quoted one of my favorite phrases :) I guess I am a little paranoid about my scooter. I want it to last as long as possible and am afraid that something is going to give way. Regardless I would never dump my sccooter just because something were to fail I would repair it and be back on the road within a week.

Like hawk and Stig say, relax.
As said there are some parts which are prone to fail, if not taken care of, particularely driven on salty roads:
-all kind of electric components
-brake calipers
-speedo drive and cable
-switches on your handlebar
-shocks, front and rear
-muffler and there those two 6mm nuts which keep it on your cylinderhead

All of this can be avoided or kept in check by doing what you're already exercising, cleaning, washing and putting a good smear of petroleum jelly or dielectric grease on mentioned parts.
Oilchange all 2000 km does not harm, but it's overkill IMHO.
Gearoil change more often than advised by KYMCO helps avoiding probs there.
Cleaning out your CVT keeps it from overheating and extends its life.
