NSR: March is Women's History Month
« on: March 10, 2023, 09:07:41 PM »
My daughter reminded me of this today.
We went for breakfast in Yellow Springs this morning, where she pointed this out in the book store window...

Dreary old morning...winds and rain....but the daffodils are showing their heads. Spring riding couldn't be too far off!

A couple of years ago.....

Surely the worst of winter is over?

and I'll be riding in mesh again!

Sort of related....
The UnderDog has a breakfast burrito which is full of good stuff - locally sourced veggies and eggs, etc.

The brown cup here is hot sauce - with which one can light a cigarette!
My daughter, a fan of all things Korean of late - eats this fiery stuff like it's strawberry jam!

The Van Gogh yellow walls took a bit of getting used to!

Nice photos Stig, love to try that fiery sauce!  Hope you’re right about the worst of the winter, been over a week now with no riding thanks to the snow. 😩

Not getting 40°F sunrises of late, so was planning one tomorrow at 30°F...now they've added 40% chance of snow!
My luck....I'd be sitting on the Group W bench with my street peeps when a big ol' wet snow started. They're trained for it..

Me, I'd be a freezing wet laughingstock FNG🙂

Swiped that from a Vespa forum .
Not scooter related.
They welcome friendly discussion of many kinds.
No politics, religion threads, and personal attacks get you a time out...or expulsion.
The thinking is that when scooter discussions wane...the forum doesn't perish from disuse.
Or some such...

stop it!
I had to go find my daughter to get those last two... (she, umm, learned what the 1st one was while driving home from a Vietnam Vet's parade here in town a few yrs ago. Her brother explained it ....and the wife hit the brother. Daughter laughed. I might have grinned...)
