4 scooter pics
« on: March 12, 2023, 12:22:16 AM »
Added long stem mirrors, Bestem lighted (LED DRL's and brake lights) top case and Kymco crash-bar set and 3" higher rebuilt seat.

Still mostly stock here with the black mirrors, no topcase and no Admore led tail light....but with the quickly added Liberty accessory flyscreen.

And that morning I had the meeting with several deer. 6 or 7 of them came walking out while I was dismounted taking pics! I found that this was a good area to find them at sunrise - but they always bugged out when I stopped.

wish you guys would post some pics!

Cool photos - thanks!
General store since 1911!
Also a post office. Could we see inside?
Yeah, temp says 50°F.
Handsome scooter.  I need to get to my local mega-brand motorcycle shop to see one of those. Haven't been in months.
My SIL lives in Gig Harbor - we visited maybe 15 yrs ago.
She moved there 20 yrs ago to "find a tall husband" She's 5'12"...no luck yet....and she's in bonus time!

Again. Thanks for the pics!

Going to Joyce is a nice ride for me, 15 miles.  With the good weather I will get coffee there several times every week. The store has had the same owner for a long time. They are in their late 80's I believe.  Nice people and the store has a good variety of food, some nuts and bolts, plumbing, car oil etc. , and stuff for the tourists. The wife and I drove out this afternoon for some ice cream bars, and we needed a new deck of cards, 92 cents. I really like the store as it brings back memories of the cross road store in the Missouri Ozarks that was near my grandfathers farm.  https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/washington/joyce-general-store-wa/
And yes, the cat is there.

Looking through my pics, and this one is from my first scooter purchase. Vespa Sprint 150. Pretty good 2-up when 45 to 55 is the way to enjoy riding. Pic out at Lake Crescent. Olympic National Park. A 20 mile ride for us.   Art

THAT is a safe scooter color!
Thanks for sharing.
There is an old Honda Reflex around town here in that color.
Love it.

Do love the pallet that Vespa are using these days.  The mint green one is great too.

Mine was strapped down on a simple wood frame - bubble-wrapped in a big brown cardboard box.

Mint green?

Oh, wait - you meant.....we say palette here in the French quarter of Ohio. :)

The green is probably my favorite. But it's not just green it's "verde".
