Hello.
Welcome to the forum!
For those of us who aren't familiar with your scooter,

air-cooled?
engine size?
4-stroke?
place of manufacture per the VIN?

Again, welcome - hopefully someone will be along with helpful info about your scooter.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

on these single cylinder scoots the connecting rod comes attached to the crankshaft as a unit. You'll buy them in 1 piece. You're looking at buying a scooter that basically needs a new motor? Can you do the work yourself? Is the scooter priced accordingly?

Depending on the work involved you may want to consider other scoots that have a working motor?

@davethepaint, welcome within the hive!

AFAIK this PGOs came in 160 and 220 ccm, though the 160 had a two- and a fourstroke version, even liquid cooled.
Well, if you got a two stroke model it's fairely possible to kill it within your mentioned 9000 mls.

Easy to repair IF you you got some skills and all parts needed.
Older than ten years and parts to buy does not stand for, if you have to pay for the scoot.

Like Iahawk says, either another working motor or leave this scoot where it is.
To go price for such a used motor might be €200,- here in Italy, so take a pick.
Happy and safe scootering, Ruffus
