Nice visit to Honda Power Store~!
« on: April 04, 2023, 06:27:57 PM »
There are two of these Honda Power Stores within 1/2 hr's drive.
I called and made a morning appointment to get my tire installed. Drove over and was out the door in 35 mins - for $43.00
Two polite young techs - even asked what PSI I wanted!

Right away I was pleased I drove over!
There was a Majesty in the lot....and a Yamaha 500 waiting for tires. (he brought two bottles of tire beads, but I noticed he's mixing tires??!!)

And look at this beauty!

serv. area...

couple of used Burgmans....

no words....

other than the yellow Reflex - this was my favorite in the house!
(though I do prefer the blue and red street version CUB)

A shame Honda not bringing anything bigger than the 150's

I'm glad I decided to skip the drama of home install (all the tools - spoons, valve puller, rim pads - going back to amazon today), and the drama of my home dealer (remember the ripped tire valve last timeout?)

It was a good experience.

something a noticed this morning....

A Young military veteran (maybe 35yrs old?) brought his 6 yr old on the back of this GoldWing. He stopped in to buy a black Grom.
Both had helmets - sneakers, no gloves, no riding jacket.

PS: only low point of the morning, looking at my name in their computer..."Say, you still riding that pretty red Forza!?"
