My experience with run flat tires

I was just thinking about the morning I rolled my Scooter out of the Garage, and set off in the dark for my coffee village.
About a mile from home the scooter wobbled. I had experienced that before on my Honda Forza when the tire went flat suddenly!
I was in heavy traffic so I had to ride about another half mile Before I can pull into a church parking lot snd checked the tires.
I saw that the rear Michelin was very low on air, so I slowly rode home.
Frankly I was amazed at how well the scooter rode with such a flat tire, then I remembered that these Michelin tires are "reinforced" !!
I know they're not meant to be run flat tires, but they worked pretty well to get me home🙂

Of course because the scooter rolled out of the garage so hard to push I should have realized one of the tires was low!
BTW...removed the screw, plugged the tire and set off again.

Rode a couple more years on that tire with no problems.

does anyone know if the seat lock on a 2008 Kymco 250 b&w  takes the same key  as the ignition key lock?

Hi Bas, as standard yes, they should be the same BUT, if the ignition barrel has ever been changed e.g. following a theft & recovery, then they may well be different.
