Where does this plug in at?
« on: June 17, 2023, 09:18:50 PM »
Does anyone know where this plugs in at or what it's for? It looks like it comes out of a bigger wire bunch and those wires all connect to the different lights. It's at the front of the scooter. I'm trying to figure out if this is the reason why my scooter isn't starting or if the battery is too low to start. Thank you!!

More info needed about your machine.  When was it running last ?  Who took it apart ?  As you posted in the Downtown 300 section, I assume it is a DT 300 .  And yes check your battery.

Good picture! How many wires? I see two but it hints at three. What are the colors of each wire (assuming more than two)?

Hard starting in these machines is generally related to voltage dropping below 9.5 -10.0 volts while cranking. Already been mentioned the battery but also includes ground connection quality and connectors. Increasing age and weathering makes it worse. Clean grounds and apply silicon dielctric grease to all.

I don't think this connector has anything to do with hard startig.
