never like seeing a deer down in the road
« on: July 19, 2023, 01:57:04 PM »
Out very early this morning fetching my daughter from her overnight job at the hosp. - some fog but not too heavy.
A mile from home in an area I know has deer crossing into the children's home grounds lay a large deer in the road.

I brought my daughter home another route - while I'll tell her so she can bank that in her memory - she didn't need to see that.

I've seen plenty on my sunrise rides....like these who popped out of the woods while I was stopped a few years ago.

Beautiful animals.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Deer everywhere out here, middle of town and feed off my landscape. They are a major riding hazard.
