Upgrading Kymco Super 8
« on: September 25, 2023, 08:51:47 AM »
Hi.
I have a 2012 50cc two stroke Super 8 - wanting to upgrade to either a 70cc or 90cc….
What is required to complete each upgrade???
I would like a detailed list for each if someone can help - I am based in Australia and am unsure what I can purchase locally or if I will have to import parts.
If someone can help me out - that puke be much appreciated
Cheers - Simmo

Any Chinese GY6 or 139QMB "Big Block Kit" will have all the bits that you need, piston, cylinder, gaskets, etc.  90cc is a bit of a reach but requires more parts changed. You will need to rejet your carburetor, so buy a selection of larger jets. You will have more power, but top speed will remain about the same.
