‘23 Maxxer 450i fuel range
« on: October 01, 2023, 07:24:52 PM »
Just purchased a new Maxxer and break in complete with 76 miles to a full tank.  90 octane non- ethanol gas, 230 lb rider, empty rear rack for those looking to take long rides.

Welcome to the forum 350xm ~!
No idea about the mpg of these things. No figures in the manual for a ball-park estimate.
Your dealer any help?
Unless otherwise stated in the manual - your Kymco is EFI & should run just fine on regular unleaded.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Did my first trip to Cabwaylingo HMT ride on the Maxxer.  Did 120 miles in two days and confirmed fuel range of the break in at approx. 74 miles.  Very impressed with the machine.  Never used 4x4 mode and stock tires climbed up every mountain put in front of it.  My only issue was clearance with 23” tires.  The rocks wrecked my a-arm plastic covers and sheared off one rear bolt.  They are just dirt retainers anyways and chucked them while cleaning the quad yesterday.  Ready for the next ride!

Wanted to add the top speed run on pavement was 57 mph.  Engine hits a rev limiter and starts to cut out.  Read an ECU upgrade gets you 3 mph more for $399.  Not worth it to me in my riding situation.  Top speed is fine for this machine and what it designed for.  Enjoy the fall leaves and get out and ride!
