I was told this by a fellow biker in England years ago….and it most probably saved me from a nasty crash on my kawasaki gpx600r
I was told that whenever you are getting your gear on….jacket, gloves, helmet etc….dont sit on the bike.
Simply walk or stand next to it and glance at the tires, nuts, bolts etc
Both sides!
Also - when you get gas - do the same!
You get used to seeing all of the bikes nuts/bolts/ things in a certain place- and (like me) may see something out of place that could be critical!!
Its amazing what your untrained eye can discern over time!
(People also mark the nuts and bolts with paint/nailvarnish/sharpee with a down arrow on everything….then at a glance you can see if its moved)
Food for thought!
