Clutch Replacement " How Do You Know"

Don't worry starting and running your scoot without CVT in/ on it.

This is usually done if you have any strange sound and you can't figure out where it comes from. In this case CVT off, motor started and investigate further.

For this starting issue:
Check again logically all parts you had removed.
-sparkplug itself
-sparkplug cap and cable until coil
-two cables on this coil
- killswitch again
- sidestand down or its switch, etc.
AND: since our injection scoots are a little bit picky when it comes to low voltage, check battery whether fully charged!

 NOTHING can happen as long you keep your fingers off crankshaft.

I am having trouble with "it cranks but doesn't turn over" statement. I am easily confused living in the deep south since these people use "it won't crank" means among 1. The engine won't start but the starter spins the engine 2. The starter WON'T spin the engine and  3. The thing just "clicks" when starting is attempted. There are variations and permutations of these three descriptions that are all covered by "it won't crank."

Which one of the three covers your situation?

I have all the new parts back on, belt, rollers and it is reassembled, torqued to specs. Bike cranks, motor turns over. Battery meters out at 13.5, so I rule out charging system. I can put the socket wrench on the variator nut and turn the motor. I am getting spark to the plug. I am sensing a fuel delivery problem??? I smell no gas as it is cranking and I am opening up the throttle WFO. Looks like I'll be removing a lot of plastics to get the the fuel system parts....Oh joy! I just LOVE when I have to do that.... !!!

Update as of 2:27pm central time, she's alive...but.....I discounted all the connecters to the injector and ISC, this and that and reconnected everything and she started right up! Runs great! You can always feel when you put new parts on your bike. But now the CELP is on..solid, not flashing but not throwing out any codes....and she runs great! Could the cpu need time to reset because I did disconnect everything, including battery? I have the repair manual and since no codes are being tossed I am at a loss...but Im riding with a smile!

CEL.on:
-first measure:
both battery cables off
hold them together for a few seconds
leave them off for a while
Then we look further.
I supect this 4pole cable to your heat sensor on your muffler. But we will see.

Thank you Mouse for that. I wonder why that page isn't nowhere to be found in my repair manual? But I will try that. I am sure it just needs to be reset since there are no codes and it runs great! Thank you again!
