mirrors look black, now...but maybe that's just a reflection of the dark surroundings?

A Boston Cream is in the mail Hawk!
I put it in an envelope and wrote, "You No Squeeze!"
Should be fine......

The original 2018 red Liberty S 150 model was $100 more than the non-S version.
The "S" package included _ gloss black mirrors and rear rack, black wheels with spun chrome rims, a black heat shield on the muffler, red stitching on the seat, and the "S" letter.
Otherwise it was the same as the non-S model.

I wanted a gloss red big-wheel step-thru - so I went looking for this scooter.

Too much black for me! I bought a set of chrome mirrors from Vespa when the price was less than $20 ea., and sprayed the heat shield "gunmetal" to match the trans and belt cover. I found a maybe-one-off-? custom color-matched Liberty top case from big dealer in San Diego. Piaggio intended an all-black case for the red S model. Liberty's in other colors got a color matched top case, not the red model. San Diego dealer sent the case out for a color-match - it looks perfect to me!

I have never seen another red Liberty with the color-matched top case.

Stock photo of an original gloss red Liberty S,

I switched to chrome mirrors....and this repainted heat-shield for the muffler.

I don't think I've ever owned a vehicle I didn't mess with.

Now, for variety .....and after sitting not being able to ride for a month! - I put the black mirrors back on one day.....

Fingers crossed on the dough-wacker!
