Another Upgrade For Arkie

Ok guys I am needing help with making up my mind about a better battery for the cold morning starts any tips will be helpful but what are you guys using on these bikes. A kickstart would be awesome on these bikes

It looks like Yuasa has a higher performance battery that has 240 C.C.A. vs the 200 that the original factory installed battery has. It is a number YTX14H-BS if you look it up on their website it has all the same specs as the original YTX14-BS that came on my 2008 500ri. Might be just the extra umph that we need on cold mornings. I'm thinking about trying it.

my scoot is almost 3 years haven't replaced the factory batt yet. Kymco scoots here uses Yuasa.

Yuasa here too, Agility and People both have the original batteries.

I piggy backed a 7ah battery to the OEM battery as I found it didnt have enough capacity to start me 4 times in say 15 mins running about stop start ..it would turn the engine and fire but not pick up and rev...I looked for a bigger  capacity battery which would fit the space but coudnt find one so had to add another smaller one  in parallel
