Starter clutch / flywheel puller for a People 200s
« on: March 07, 2018, 11:26:12 PM »
My apologies for not finding anything relevant using the search engine....

My starter clutch is slowly but surely going south and I'll have to get around to opening up the right side of the engine to change it out.

I was just wondering if the standard 27mm x1 mm  left hand thread puller will work for removing the flywheel and the same thing for the 27mm castle nut tool for unbolting the starter clutch itself ?

I haven't got the scooter with me as it's currently parked at my parent's in a faraway European country where I can't open it up and check for myself quite yet.

I'll be buying these in the meantime, unless someone tells me I'm very wrong :

and

https://www.aliexpress.com/ite...s.13010208.99999999.269.nPiTKd

Thanks a lot in the meantime.

Antonio.

Most of you have followed our journey of starting a small business. From the beginning, Off Road Body Armor was strictly a manufacturer for Kymco UXV 450 body armor and accessories. With the help of many loyal customers on this forum, ORBA has grown to be one of the largest aftermarket accessory websites on the web; though, we have not forgotten our roots, right here with Kymco. Please visit our new and improved website.

Rear tire change not going well
« Reply #7 on: March 16, 2018, 10:10:08 PM »
Took my People 300i to get a new rear tire installed.
They are having an issue getting the swing arm off of the axle.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Dirk

Any of you out there that have a 2018 model year UXV, what are your thoughts and opinions?  Operate ok?  Would you wait until 2019 to purchase?  Just want opinions so I can judge whether to buy a 2018 now or wait until next year's model.  Thanks in advance!
