Earlier this year i produced a documentary on the first national Scooter Drag Racing event held by the NASRA.

It was first released on DVD but now being made available to everyone.

WOW- And right down the street in Brown County! I knew from the ever-present storm clouds that it had to be close!  I will be there in 2011.  I loved the one lone ad on the side of the drag strip from 'Scoot!' magasine. It's a start!

Great job on the documentary, WT. Lookin' forward to the next one. Make sure you post a heads up when May rolls around.

Dumb question-Is this the first year for the Scoot'n'Gone? First year for me to be a scooterist so it's all good. Never saw myself doing this five years ago. See you in May! Don't know what I will be riding but pretty sure it will be a bigger Kymco. Wish they made a bigger 2t. I was considering a Genuine Stella 2t 150 but mannnn, have I heard some horror stories about that bike. I am sure that Kymco would make a bigger 2t a lot better than that thing. The Genuine Rattler 110 looks like a lot of fun as well. I think that is about the biggest 2t available here in the States that is stock. heard good things about it. So many scoots, so little time. Thanks again bro. See you in May.

I just realsed my landlady is interested in watching the races with me. She will be a lot of fun. 92 years old and still a kid at heart. I'd attach a photo but I can't seem to get it to preview. I hit the 'choose file' button but nothing shows when I hit the preview. Any help? maybe it will post but won't preview.

What a cool picture of a cool lady.    Bet she broke a lot of hearts back in her day.  And had a lot of fun too.  It's so nice to see someone that age who is still young at heart. 

When I was in my mid thirties I had a woman neighbor in her seventies who was the same.  She had plenty of friends, including myself.   

By the way, the picture is enormous as posted.  I used the Windows reduce % magnifier at the bottom right of Internet Explorer to get the page down in size to view it easily.

She's all of 80 (?) pounds at 4'10" and it is still hard to get her all in one picture! BTW, she lives in  the Duesenberg house here in Indianapolis and has maintained it quite nicely. Just likes a lot of room to wander around. This shot is of her sitting on a super 9 in her living room, where I suppose Fred Duesenberg entertained guests like his friend Harry Stutz.  Stutz liked the house so much that he bought the floor plans and built his own copy not more than 2 miles from here. Pretty cool story. I used to rent the carriage house which has an oil changing pit underneath the garage floor. I hope this photo doesn't appear too large. If it is too large to easily see, let me know and I will change it.

What a cool story and sounds like a great lady.  When my Dad died at the age of 80 most of his friends were college students.  We can sure mis some great experiences in our youth obsessed culture. 

Glad you all are digging the video.  Hope we can have a strong Kymco showing next May.
