Much of the country is under a heat advisory today.
It felt really good to remove the liner in my mesh First Gear jacket for this morning's ride!
Wind blowing right through - like riding in a shirt !(I imagine, never done it)
The orange Klim D-30 back pad is waffled on the skin side - so it's not so hot.
Another plus of shedding fabric from my arms is that my mirror vision improves! The Liberty has long stems which put the whole of the mirror disc outside the hand grips. Even as broad as I am - I can then see everything but the right headlight of a following car.
I think about those
commandos who ride in black jackets with mean looking flat-black helmets on days like these.....
