What's the most you folks have ever paid for parking?
Today I finally found an empty space in a lot. I stayed with the pup while wife and daughter walked to the machine to pay.
Daughter came back, "OK, we have 2 hours."
I fussed - "but maybe you guys will need longer to explore the shops...?!"
"NO we won't! ...hop out Dad."

Later, walking around, daughter casually asks me what is the most crazy amount I'd ever pay for parking?
"I don't know...$25 would make me crazy. Why?"
She changed the subject.....

I overheard them later.....
$38 for 2 hours. 2 hour minimum.
They were wize not to tell me🙂

$10 for bike parking in Laconia, $5 for parking at Fryeburg Fair.    No expensive parking stories from me, both were all day parking

Went to the Montreal Bike Show a few years back, I knew better than parking near the Expo Center, so I parked in Longueil and took the subway in, as I was about to feed loonies into the meter in the outdoor lot, it was COLD that day I noticed a Free Heated garage at Sherbrooke University across the street, and that explained why the outdoor lot was empty

Wow Stig, that's London rates!  I think the most I ever paid was about £12 an hour at Manchester Airport when I dropped daughter off for a flight to the Canaries.  (That's if we don't count the odd time I've been caught out by poor car park signage and ended up with a £60 parking penalty notice!)

Yeah...daughter said there was a lady standing there fussing loudly....and she was NYC!
