Is rear suspension adjustable AK 550

Is the rear suspension on the AK 550 adjustable?

I'm assuming it does. My Burgman 400 had a similar horizontal mono-shock. It was adjustable by removing a small panel below - and using the tool supplied in the stock tool kit.

A 550 owner will be along soon to answer your quesation.

OK, OK I'm here.

No, The AK rear shock is not adjustable. It is still a good suspension back there though. If careful measurements are taken of the existing setup you might be able to replace the stock shock with something that is adjustable but I'm not so sure the cost would be worth it or the improvement, if any, would be significant enough to justify doing that.

Yes, upgrading is pretty expensive.
Only option I guess is changing the oil.
