LIKE 200i LX sighting
« on: September 02, 2024, 06:16:06 PM »
Saw a 200i LX in an underground garage complex recently. Had this chrome pipe trimming. Not in ship shape, but passable.
Also not quite original, the middle part under the "tie", should be chrome. One mirror only.

Thanks for the photo Ruffus!
Did you get a look at the mileage?
These Faco crash bars concern me as they seem to attach to the skin (panel) of the LIKE at the front. Hopefully there is a fixing to the frame at the rear?
Also, some years ago we were told that this LIKE was only available in Italy with the 50cc and 125cc engine - unless the 163cc version was special ordered from a country like Switzerland?

Anyway - always good to see a brother LX!
Thanks again.
Stig

PS: some years ago we had an Italian member with this same scooter. Sadly, he seems to have faded away.....

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I noticed the attachment on the front fender, too. It doesn't seem like it would hold up in a ... bump.
