Had not checked the air in my tires!
« on: September 17, 2024, 06:54:54 PM »
The night before my morning ride on my Kymco I squeezed my rear tire.
It didn't feel right.
I then went through my most hated servicing procedulre: I dug out an aiir gauge from the top case, lay down on my rubber mat and checked the PSI.
11.6 PSI  ~!

Ok, pretty sure this is tire check #1 for 2024 on the Kymco's normally reliable Michelins.

Soon I'll check the Angels on the 🗽~!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

A hated task for me too!  Made marginally less so by the 90 degree elbow valves, but still a “faff”. Maybe I too need to bite the bullet…
Regards & ride safe,

A nice bike pump with a builtin gauge makes the task slightly less hated for me since i can  read the pressure and then pump if necessary. I still don't do it as often as I should though.   I am wondering if one of those little handheld, electric, rechargeable pumps would be even more convenient.
