Interesting isn’t it, that even the most artistically acclaimed adverts still sometimes don’t shift the units?
It’s been asked here dozens of times, but why are scooters not more appreciated in the ’States?
Absolutely! - it is not possible to convince American youngsters that scooters are cool.
That just isn't going to happen - ever!
And it's a darn shame because the major manufacturers have very little reason to expand their line here.
You'll notice who's buying them here - and who's upset about the lack of models.
It isn't the younger American riders!
I've always thought we were lucky to have any quality scooters for sale in this country.....and it takes the likes of Honda to put any effort into supporting them with their Power Seller Honda dealerships. It's 50 miles to a Vespa dealer - but I've 2 Power Seller Honda dealerships nearby. And for
most of America, Kymcos are sold out the side door of multi-brand dealerships.
Motorcycles are a whole different matter!
