Grand Vista 250 Where is Kymco headed with this model?

The GV 250 future appears murky to me as I notice less corporate information about this bike. It seems to have been replace with a city 300 or some 200cc model. I feel like they have abandon the 250 cc in there 2011 line up. Has anyone some in site on if my Grand Vista 250 is going to be a discontinued orphan? I hope not!
Regards

I agree that it looks as if the 300i is to replace the GV250.
In the back of my mind, I had that thought when I bought my GV250.
But so what ? As long as Kymco supports the GV250 with new parts, I can live with it being an orphan.

I would never knock any scooter, I was to purchase a Grand Vista until I felt the crowded feeling between the handle bars and the seat. Coming out of the Peoples S200 which is much smaller than 200cc, I got into the Downtown 300i. It is just about the 300 cc which I need being 6'1' and 245. Have not yet driven it due to PA nasty winter! Can't wait till warm weather. I went into the Downtown Forums and read much prior to purchase and thank many of the people that placed their note's etc. in....a great great help.

The GV is a U.S. model for 2011, at any rate.

The GV is known to be one of the best rides for shorter legged riders. I don't need a short legged ride but many do and the GV is a winner for them. I read about so many female riders that love the short seat and low center of gravity. Taller riders don't like the proximity of the front fairing and dash area but that is why K has several model in each engine size range.
