I get people coming into the shop all the time asking about this. Some of them are absolutely convinced that because some states allow it, Tennessee must, as well. Well, no. That's not how it works. But I'll take your money if you want to buy one, with the caveat that if you get pulled over, your scooter will be impounded, and you may go to county lockup.

a lot of fools think because they got there drive rights taken away they think they can drive a scoot.
not going happen just get cought ounce. I see a lot of scoots with out there tags I just think thats so funny because I know wear they are going to end up at.
