Yes, about getting service to look at the tranny but I was asked to wait until I bring it in for the total check-up, oil change etc. for the first time..oh well... I am really curious about other DT 300 owner's whether they have any indication of a vibration which get's worse on initial pull out which I describe as a hammer drill. No smoothness to this and maybe too, it is why I get this jump even when I try to throttle up as easy as I possibly can. Truthfully at this point, I am getting a bit well.... Thank you though

I am not sure what is supposed to be my cup of tea but in reference to batteries... most batteries are re-badged batteries. I pulled up my parts catalog  (yes, for a I bike I don't own...nerd alert) and the parts guide says "BATTERY YT12A-BS".  In my experience with batteries, the letters can tell you the maker and physical size of the battery. IN most cases that I have found, if the battery starts with a Y, it was likely manufactured by Yuasa regardless of the brand name on the battery.

12A is about the physical size and amperage and storage capacity

the BS are where the terminals are on the battery (what size and which side the positive is on, what type of terminals are there)

So.. if you are looking to replace a YT12A-BS.. you can use any battery ending in xx12A-BS.  There are a limited number of manufacturers and thousands of brand names all being made by the same few manufacturers.

Yuasa makes all of these brands:
Convential series [Wet Power Sport]

ECO-R series [Starting & Power Sport]

ED series [Deep Cycle]

GS-CB series [Wet Power Sport]
