hello everyone! This seems to be a really informative forum, found alot of interesting threads. Well I own a 2007 GV and so far I enjoy the ride, ( have been riding for a total of a month so far.) I bought this scooter used from a scooter dealer and i have only one complaint and that is the ride is "bumpy", I believe its due to the tires being chopped. I ride back and forth to work which is 12 miles each way . My question is what is a good replacement rear tire and how limited are my options?  I plan on riding this scooter alot through the summer to work and everywhere else. Again great forum and I hope to be able to contribute to it in the future.

Welcome to the board, some really good information to be had here, that's for sure.  I just put on a set of Michelin Gold Standards and gotta say I love them so far.  Good grippy tires with quite a comfortable ride.  From the sound of the tires you have, they are cupped or scalloped.  That happens when the air in the tire is to low or just agressive riding.  A good resource for reading tire wear: http://w6rec.com/duane/bmw/cupping/index.htm

I would suggest looking into adjusting your shocks -- if possible, as well.

LMAO!!!

You may want to look into getting your wheels balanced, or using Dynabeadsâ„¢:

I put that stuff in and it seems to work pretty good.
