Avoid cable locks. They are essentially worthless and cut in less than a second. I use a very secure Kryptonite U on front wheel. Visual deterrence and would have to be put in a truck or van to move. Just wondered if LowJack or similar service is applicable to a scooter. I for one would probably not mind paying up to a couple hundred bucks annually for the strong likelihood of a quick recovery and hopefully a prosecution.

My husband has an '09 Suzuki Burgman 650 exec, and it came with a LowJack on it. I don't know if the LowJack is available as a scooter accessoryl

There are so many choices, it's confusing on what to buy.  I have a Super 8 150 and thinking of a disc lock of some sort.

I picked up this one yesterday at my local scooter store and it seems to work fine.  Included a soft case and reminder cable.

I have something like that, it is better than nothing. It will drive off those that are looking for 100 % trouble free theft, but you can break it with one blow of the hammer or unlock it with simple marker pen. However, in my country, nobody cares about Kymcos so they are reasonable safe (so far). I think you could leave it with key in and nobody would take it. :) :)
