Agility city R16 [125cc]
« on: April 03, 2011, 09:35:14 AM »
Hello and delighted to have found this forum

I like to know where can I buy parts for my scooter?
what parts to upgrade and then I buy?

and what modifications would be to do to earn some that torque and power?

thank you very much in advance

ps:
I changed my part:
- clutch malossi
- malossi variator (white spring)
- Main Jet 110
- unlock airbox

result: lots and lots of acceleration ... but 90km/h GPS

Hi gatch, welcome to the forum. There aren't many of us with the R16 as it isn't available in the USA. I haven't done any mods on mine (engine, drivetrain) but it will do 100kph indicated, so i think you need heavier rollers (maybe a new belt?). Do you know the dimensions of your rollers? Ebay seems to have quite a few sites, i've only bought exhaust gaskets from one site, Scooter Assasins, here in the UK.

hi and thx...

the rollers of variator "malossi are 11,5gr....
my scooter have only 3000km... new belt need? i don't think...
on this scooter, no find exhaust... lower than 250€
i see many times GY6 (152QMI) upgrade pieces... but i don't know if it is compatible...
many chiness scooters are "gy6" motor...

the CDI is upgradable???? it is an AC or DC voltage?

looking at your diagrams, it seems the Mallosi is gearing the belt up? if you get the plates to come together the belt would be running at a bigger diameter than standard. Maybe you need more power to get it to that diameter? I'm no mathematician so it is difficult to work out! :'(

nope, ive got mallosi on too....

have u put that washer thingy before variator?

these pictures are not correct...right size of original belt is 781X20x30x9,5...kevlar can be bigger...but not too long....

thin u got wrong belt size....bando is really original kymco belt....

u got 2 sizes for kymco 743 and 781, so read whats on belt... 743 can snap...read temp on variator cover after run,,,,too worm or just hot ?

mallosi CANT be the same as original variator,,,,,,,,,

1/ yes i have... the washer thingy before variator is behind the variator, in first...
2/ the variator cover is not worm... i can to put my hand 1h ( :/ ) 50°c may be?
3/ i will make a new mesure of the belt...
the reference is : 23100-kec4-9000
on the taiwan mine motor the good size is 781X20x30x9,5
i agree with you... but i have make a mesure with 810mm... i will recheck it...

i think the belt is too short... she is very tense (very very very...)
i will test with "malossi belt"  (805x20x30x10)

and i have another question...
if i want to put a racing CDI, what is the good choice??
i have find a racing CDI for agility city 50cc 4T (with 8 pins like mine)
it is compatible?
thanx in advance!

racing cdi for 125cc....cant be much good...its allready open...

in 50cc racing means unblocked rpms....nothing else...

think that tension is product of too clean variator and clutch, and yellow spring....kymco likes to be dirty there...

give it some time....

size of the belt is from 781 to 810 think...
normal belt is like 781 cold 805 warm, so kevlar is like 795 cold 805 warm....

malossi multivar? part no is?
