Top Speed

I really want/need a new scooter. My 09 Agility125 is a great scoot and has only let me down once in the over 6000 miles I have put on her in the last year or so. Bad CDI that was covered under warranty. My problem is I have moved further away from work and now need to get on the Interstate for about 4 miles to get to work. Posted speed limit is 55 to 65mph but everyone goes faster. The question is can the Yager go 70mph with no problem for those 4 miles just so I can keep up with traffic? I am also consitering a Genuine Blur 220i. In the mean time I must drive my car and gas prices are killing me. I'm in Florida and scooter weather has already begun.

It is strange that 4 miles causes such a problem. You can blast them away with A125 in a few minutes.
If it was 40, it would be a different story though...

Yes, the Yager GT 200i will hit 70 mph. I did a hard break-in, and at 200 miles, it looks like it's already broken in, because the engine smoothed out, and there's no trace of wear material in the oil.

I take it up to about 72 on the highways here. That's about all I can get out of it, mostly because the wind is blowing hard against me off the coast. The engine is running at about 7800 rpm. On a still day (have yet to experience one), it should get a few mph more.

On a slight downslope on part of the ride, I can hit 77 mph, but the engine is hitting 8500 rpm (above the redline).

I'm a heavier guy(250) and I only feel comfortable getting mine to 65 on a flat road. Anything more than that for me and I am redlining it.
