2007 Agility 125 Problems
« on: April 20, 2011, 10:30:26 PM »
Have Agility 1try25 purchased new, keep it maintained. Parked it for 2 months, was running fine when I shut it off. When trying to restart, the would try to start and then die. The local dealer cannot figure it out. In the past the issues have been carburator or the electronic box whatever that is. Not sure what to do now. The local dealer has indicated that they everything they know, new fuel, new kill switch. He thinks it is electronic.

How to diagnose this problem. Was thinking of using fuel can and bypass fuel tank? Can the electrical be unplugged, use manual kick starta and see if it is the electical wiring harness which dealer was ready to install next. I like the dealer. Some other issues that these 125's have had? Thanks for any help.

Did you try cleaning the carb and changing the fuel?  Ethanol separates within 60 days into a sludge to plugs the carb.

First off can you tell us if your scooter is producing a continuous spark?

You need the CDI box connected in order for the scooter to run.

When my CDI failed, my scooter wouldn't produce a spark, or it would produce a spark when I flipped the killswitch up and down. It would spark once and then die. I talked to a few people and they said the CDI. Once I did that the scooter started up first try and has ran like a champ.
