Couldn't honestly say that it was exacty 60 mph, or 7.8 seconds for that matter.
Just something slightly less than 8 seconds on a stop watch, when hitting approximately the 100kph mark on the speedo.
Given a slight error in the clock, (around 5% on mine), the thickness of the needle and the human eye's ability to read a vibrating stop watch, we could argue the toss over splitting it, but it was there or thereabouts.
As to the the ethanol, I believe it's currently only around 5% in the UK, but not even sure what difference that makes, assuming that the petrol isn't allowed to stand and evaporate!
