I think the D-T 300i vs. GT300i fits everyones needs based mostly on their height! I'm not saying...that "looks" don't come into play here! I never liked that "low-riding" Honda Helix feel myself. I feel like you could eat a bowl of popcorn while crusing a Helix/D-T 300i. It's simply too far back for me. I really like the "upright" sporty ride style of the GT300i. Plus...I'm 6' 230 lbs. I'm waiting for my delivery of my GT300i mid-next week!  Both are great scoots (still built in Taiwan) Just that they are a little diiferent!

I had an 2007 xciting 250 just upgraded to 2009 xciting 500ri. It is big and fast. I am 6'1" 260 lbs.  The xciting is like a seadoo on land pure fun with plenty of power.  I know the downtown and people are great but it is xciting all the way for me.  People no storage and downtown no leg room.  Xciting has storage and leg room hard on the inseam for shorter riders.

I wish I could ride more and drive less!

I just bought one.(GT)
More foot room, bigger wheels.
On the DT, I never could figure out where to put my feet.
Both are nice motor scooters.
If I wanted to sit closer to the ground, the DT would be it.
