Kymco agility rear bearings
« on: May 21, 2011, 01:09:22 PM »
Hi all,

need some info about rear driven pulley bearings:

http://kymcopartsonline.com/catalog/search_diagram_detail.php?s_fk_manufacturers_id=21&s_fk_model_year_id=1&s_fk_scooter_model_id=1&s_parts_diagram_id=10

part is 23200 and it a kit...but i need only bearings....outer driven pulley bearing

Anybody did this and know size of it....want to change outer and inner bearing...can pull it out but i think its gonna be broken...

im commuting each day to work and dont have much time to take it to somebody and i like to ride these days.....

You could ask the guys at Taipei Scooter Assasins, they're very helpful, and reasonable prices!

I would recommend you disassemble the box and remove the bearings to read the designations on the bearing races. Then go to your SKF guys and get replacements which will be generally cheaper than anywhere else. Your bike will probably be out of service while you wait...

Great, so your back on the road, i'd hate to be without my r16 now! How did you know it needed new bearings? Was it noisy? Overheating?
 Any pics of the repair?

got some pic, gona post it later....not so god...crappy phone...i was in hurry...
bearings:
- inside 1x skf 15x28x7 (ball)
- outside 1x needle ntn 20x29x18 (hard to find - tnx God for lager commerce)

noise from house...sometimes picking at idle - like hole scoot wanted to drive away at 1200rpm...
allways humming - turbo noise at high rpms
picking clutch - long time to calibrate
too much freeplay at axle
at inspection only 5balls from inside bearing were there - NEEDLE bearing didnt need to be replaced

- max speed fell down to 105kph - damn.... ;D
