« on: May 26, 2011, 08:59:57 PM »
From close throttle to sudden WOT while stop on a Steep hill my bike would bog or sputter,is this a sign of too rich or just a CVT problem?I currently have a tecnigas next R with the 6.5 rollers, mallossi variator,97/98 main jet and stock #35 pilot jet(stock carb),and pod uni filter. So much steep hills where I live, has anyone experience this,?

Roll the throttle on. Do not "sudden WOT" as the mixture goes to very lean and the engine will stumble.

Mac, I used to ride some pretty spunky motorcycles and most of them could QUIT by opening the throttle too fast. Yes, it is basic but then most problems are caused by basic mistakes. Look for horses, not zebras when you hear hoofbeats.
